10. Jamaal Magloire
Jamaal Magloire became the second Canadian player in history, after Steve Nash, to appear in the NBA All-Star Game in 2004. In that game, he scored 19 points for the Eastern Conference. Magloire spent 12 seasons in the NBA with several teams and later returned to the Toronto Raptors organization as an assistant coach and community development advisor.
9. Kelly Olynyk
Kelly Olynyk has spent more than a decade in the NBA with teams such as the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, and Utah Jazz. He later returned to the Toronto Raptors. At international level, Olynyk played a major leadership role for Canada and helped the national team defeat the United States in the third-place match at the FIBA World Cup to secure a historic medal.
8. Bill Wennington
Bill Wennington’s greatest achievement was winning three consecutive NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls from 1996 to 1998. Although he was not a superstar scorer like Michael Jordan or Scottie Pippen, he played an important tactical role under coach Phil Jackson. Due to his contributions, Wennington was inducted into both the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame and the Quebec Sports Hall of Fame.

Nash also led the NBA in assists five times and ranks among the league’s all-time assist leaders.
After retiring, Nash continued working in basketball as a coach, commentator, and executive. As a former general manager of the Canadian national team, he helped build the foundation for Canada’s youth development system, paving the way for stars such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and RJ Barrett.
